It is a tradition for the Lake to Lake President to issue a challenge in the year of a Quilt Show so President Sally suggested the following:

Make a quilt about your favorite song, musician, or type of music.
The dimensions of the quilt to be 36″ x 36″ square so it will be easier to hang in the show uniformly.
It should consist of 3 layers (top, batting, backing) but not have three dimensional aspects that protrude too far from the surface of the quilt for ease of displaying. Beading, embroidery, thread painting, or embellishments are encouraged as long as they are attached securely.
You must have a 4″ hanging sleeve on your entry.
You must have a label with your name and the title of the quilt attached in a secure manner.
The quilt entries will debut at the show itself when we hang them.
Your entry will have a separate form to use rather than the standard quilt entry. This will come out at a later date.
